Shrinkage (decrease in size): Modest. Durability and mechanical characteristics: medium-high hardness, excellent durability for the heartwood, deep yellow color tending to brown. Main uses: Interior and exterior joinery, naval works, floors, outdoor fixtures, furniture and furnishings.
