Durability and mechanical characteristics: low hardness, resistance from low fungus attacks for the Italian material, discrete the North European, whitish yellowish sapwood and reddish heartwood. Main uses: various types of construction structures, poles, internal and external fixtures, furniture, furnishings, packaging.
